launchpad Installation

Hello,

 

I have run into an issue trying to install the ftrack launchpad application and am hoping I can get some assistance here. I created an API Key and entered that into the setup launchpad screen alongside the server address. When I select 'Apply' I receive the error:

 

"Incorrect api version. Download now!"

 

After clicking the link a .zip file containing python files is downloaded to my system. I haven't been able to find any documentation on what to do with these files, however. I'm working on Mac OSX and have installed "ftrack plugins osx 2.6v13". 

 

Any help would be appreciated.

Which version of ftrack are you running?

 

If you are on V3 you should use the Connect app instead that you can download from ftrack.com/downloads.

Hello Mattias,

 

I am running Ftrack V3 and I am using Ftrack Connect.

Unfortunately, in this Connect I don't have a way to select a task to work on and select an application to launch. Could you please let us know how this can be done with Ftrack V3? Or point us to a documentation?

Hi Remus,

 

When running ftrack 3 with Connect you launch applications from the web interface. Open a task in the sidebar and click the Actions button which will display a window with available applications.
