Henrik Cednert Posted October 20, 2013 Report Posted October 20, 2013 Theoretically speaking... If ftrackplugins was working for an alpha version of an application but not with a later beta of the same application, would that be an issue of the plugins having to be updated or the host application missing the "Bridge"...? Same question for non alpha/beta. Say that I was using version 3.2.1 of an application and later upgrade to 3.2.2, would the plugins have to be upgraded for this? Cheers
Björn Rydahl Posted October 20, 2013 Report Posted October 20, 2013 Hi Henrik, generally the answer would be no, unless the naming of the application changes considerably. It should not be required unless something has actually been fixed in ftrack plugins. But, there are a few exceptions we need sort out. For example latest hiero and nuke. We will have that sorted in the next update of ftrack plugins, early next week. Cheers
Henrik Cednert Posted November 2, 2013 Author Report Posted November 2, 2013 Hum. This was never uploaded to the forum? I did manuall change the apps.xml and added the new Hiero version, not sure if that's a valid approach? =)
Björn Rydahl Posted November 4, 2013 Report Posted November 4, 2013 Hi Henrik, it should work with the latest version of ftrack plugins. If not, what version of Hiero are you running? Cheers
