Reoccurring Projects

We have reoccurring projects to produce film trailers on a monthly basis; is there a workflow in FTrack that can help organise this and other types of projects that are cyclic in nature?

 

How would I best organise and schedule this in FTrack?

Hi Tony,

 

Are you reusing the same project when doing this or are they different projects, but similar?

 

It sounds like you should be able to do this by setting up a workflow which you can reuse when creating the project.

To populate the project with default sequences/shots/tasks I would create an import mapping which can be resused each month.

Thanks Carl - Actually what we've done is simply used a master folder, and create a new project based on a predefined workflow (as you've described above) each time we receive the new job each month.
