However, you can construct your own templates and workflows in ftrack (http://ftrack.rtd.ftrack.com/en/stable/administering/managing_workflows/index.html) and you may find you able to achieve what you need. If you can outline the specific processes / workflows that you are hoping to manage with ftrack then we (or the community) might be able to help you further.
