Copy and Paste image directly into Thumbnail (& Notes)

Hello ftrack team,

 Many times task (or any) thumbnails are left blank (or not up to date) due to not having an image file to upload.  It would be easier for all users to have the ability to directly copy and paste images into the thumbnail area without saving to a file first.

 

Can you add this type of copy and paste into the thumbnail from clipboard memory?    ...Also, if possible can this ability be added to notes as well ?

(we are using Ftrack 4.12.0.current.13.4120)
