  1. Yes we would really benefit from that feature too. I created another post for that feature request some time ago: https://forum.ftrack.com/topic/924-better-use-of-html-title-tag-in-browser/

    For now we're using the chrome extension "Tab Modifier" for renaming the Tabs which is of course not the best solution.

    is there a way to show all tasks of all projects with a specific status?

    In our case we have a status called "Ready for internal review".  As a supervisor a nice to have feature would be to have an overview of all the tasks that I have to review.

    Of course this is possible using the API but is there maybe a built in way to do that? Not sure if I'm missing something obvious here...

    as a supervisor I usually have multiple ftrack tabs open in the browser at a time. Unfortunately it's hard to find the right project since all the tabs are just named "ftrack" (see image 1). Would it be possible to include the current project name (or whatever page is currently shown) in the title? See image 2 for an example.

    Another good use for the title tag would be to show the currently running time logger. That way the user doesn't forget that there is a timer running in the background as it's shown in the taskbar (Windows only).

  4. When sending out Review Session links to our clients it is often the case that we send a link to only one person from the production company. The link then is being forwarded to other people from the production company or the director etc. 
    For this use case it would be really helpful to be able to generate neutral links. These links should not be  connected to any name or mail address. The reviewer is only asked for their name once he wants to leave a comment.

  5. Hi,

    we're using the Export function to create a list of the current shot/task statuses. Unfortunately the layout of the PDF can't really be changed by the user. Specifically we'd like to increase the size of the thumbnail in those lists. A dropdown menu to switch between small/medium/large image sizes would be a nice addition to the export function. Of course larger images would reduce the number of items per page.

    Also we noticed that there is a small bug with (custom?) attributes of the type "Number". Although the field is a non-decimal number (which is shown correctly within ftrack) the numbers are shown as decimal in the exported PDF. So 5 turns into 5.0 for example. 

    Regarding the Excel export it would be nice to have the same layout for the excel sheet as for the PDF. Then the user could change the layout the way he wants. At the moment the excel file does not include thumbnails. I assume that's because the excel files are created via a parsed csv file?

  6. Is there any step by step manual for setting up location with the new api yet? I'm looking for some thing like this:


    The documentation is a great reference.  But due to all the crossreferences it's hard to get an overall impression of all the steps that are actually needed to get locations to work.

    A step by step manual for locations using  FTP accessors as some people requested before would also be nice :)
