  1. We’re on the lookout for a bright and enthusiastic Product Support Specialist to join the ftrack team in Los Angeles (or West Coast, just get in touch!). In this crucial role for ftrack in the United States, the ideal candidate will be involved in customer support and wear many hats in a fast-moving industry. This is a newly created role and will be the first permanent hire in Los Angeles, California. The role requires customer-centric skills to please prospects and clients, being the dedicated contact for queries relating to product support, client relations and sales for the North American market. Key responsibilities Manage relationships with ftrack users in North America Proactively engage with clients via face-to-face meetings, video conferencing and online communities Gain a deep understanding of ftrack features and the comparisons of competing and related products Provide on-site and remote training as required Demonstrate features to prospects and clients Help educate prospects and clients into best practises and to make the best use of ftrack Assist and contribute to solving support related queries Requirements Taking ownership of client engagement in the United States Working experience in post-production relating to CG or VFX with strong knowledge of 2D and 3D workflows Friendly and approachable personality with excellent presentation skills Ability to travel to client facilities, trade shows and user groups Capable of prioritizing and responding to queries in a timely manner Ability to work independently and collaboratively with distributed teams Based in California, preferably in Los Angeles Desirable Working knowledge of ftrack in production or similar Knowledge of high-end creative software: 3ds Max, Maya, Nuke, Cinema 4D, Houdini etc. Exposure to working for a software company or production environment Interest in Agile methodologies If you would like to apply for this role, please send an email to jobs@ftrack.com with your CV, salary expectations and notice period with the subject line “Product Support Specialist – West Coast US”

We're delighted to announce we have expanded support to Asia-Pacific with new hires in sales and customer support in China. “Over the last year demand in ftrack has rapidly increased in the Asian markets,” says Fredrik Limsater, CEO of ftrack. “With local presence in China, we extend our much-loved support to the ever-increasing demand in this region. I am excited that we offer dedicated support in China and we expect the team to grow further in the near future.” Nikk Mitchell, originally from Canada and now based in Hangzhou joins ftrack as a Sales Representative and has extensive experience in virtual reality and video game production. “We’ve had fantastic response from local creative studios by introducing ftrack to their pipeline,” says Nikk Mitchell. “Having lived in China for ten years and worked in VR for five years, I hope to add a friendly face to support ftrack’s growth in China.” Eddie Wang joins the Customer Support team bringing with him a background in customer services and information systems. “Everyone at ftrack has been really inviting and friendly. I’m looking forward to help studios improve their production tracking with ftrack.” Both Eddie and Nikk are bilingual in Chinese and English and are located in Hangzhou, China.

    ftrack Review gives video producers and content creators a platform to collaborate on projects with annotations and notes, and has the ability to scale up into ftrack Studio – with full production tracking and API support – for end-to-end project management.
