[how to make the Bid hours visible to a worker?]

sorry if I reopen this thread, but how do we manage what role can and cannot write (edit) bid value ?

 

 

[Filtering on custom attributes that are expressions]

Hey, we rely on lots of custom attributes that are in fact expressions, based on math operations on some other custom attributes or built-in attributes.

Since we recently jumped to latest ftrack version ( we were on 3.something before) , we realized that filtering on those "expressions-custom attributes" was no longer working and generating a server error instead.

 

Is it the expected behaviour or dp we have some underlying issue?

We can workaround using api-like query filters but is is mostly duplicate code.

isn't "restrict timelogging" made for that purpose  ?

The ability to log time on tasks with any status would help, I believe tasks that are in "blocked" or "finished" state (don't remember which one) won't appear in the timesheet view

[Notification filtering]

Hey, on the same topic, I have a request, about the filtering in the "inbox" display.

Now we can filter messages on project, type, time unread/starred.

Would it also be possible to filter on users that made the action that triggered the message ( their picture appears on the left side, but no way to filter on a specific person)

We have a person that has subscribed to all the projects ans maintais kind of a planning of all artists, so he needs to be aware of all actions that makes sense to him, by user
