mkaihola
Hi, It seems that in client review, I'm not able to play mp4 with firefox. Got this feedback from our client, and I tested it by myself and can confirm that. With Chrome it works well. Is this known problem? Ftrack version is 3.5.2.4544 Cheers, -m
Mattias Lagergren
Hi and welcome to the forums. For new versions of Firefox you should be able to playback mp4. Do you know which version the client may be using? It is possible to enable webm for older versions of Firefox (System Settings > Advanced Settings)

Lucas Correia
Hi, Can you verify that the .mp4 is playable in Firefox if you open the file directly (e.g. by dragging it from a file browser to the web browser)? If not, you may need to modify you ffmpeg command to ensure that the output is compatible with Firefox as well. Regards, Lucas

Lucas Correia
Does it work with videos encoded by us (If you drag a video file to the "Versions" tab in the sidebar of the web interface, or use the `encode_media` method in the API)? To troubleshoot this further, it might be easiest if you reach out to us via email to support@ftrack.com to help us reproduce the issue.
