Remus Avram Posted May 19, 2017 Report Posted May 19, 2017 Hi Ftrack Team, our production would like to write notes which includes new lines. Example of note: Node line one. Node line two. Node line three. When we add the note, it displays like this: Node line one. Node line two. Node line three. Is is possible to get it displayed in multiple lines?
Mattias Lagergren Posted May 19, 2017 Report Posted May 19, 2017 Hi Remus, Yes it is possible but you need to add an extra newline in-between to create separate paragraphs: Node line one. Node line two. Node line three.
Remus Avram Posted June 9, 2017 Author Report Posted June 9, 2017 Thanks Mattias for the answer! I checked with production and their feedback: When copying and pasting notes from the client it removes the formatting which means the coord either needs to spend time enter line breaks into comments or the artists are confused with the notes merged into one paragraph Is there a way to format the text better?
Mattias Lagergren Posted June 9, 2017 Report Posted June 9, 2017 Good point, but I'm afraid any such change must be thought through quite carefully. We use markdown libraries and try to follow the "standard". An option would be to have a "add client feedback" action that does this for you.
Remus Avram Posted June 12, 2017 Author Report Posted June 12, 2017 Thanks Mattias for the answer! The problem with having an action for this is that it makes it more and more difficult to control it.
