tokejepsen
Hey, It would be nice to have an "Import all components from asset" button in the importer. Practical example is that a compositor starts a task and wants to import all components from a lighting asset. If the lighter has been publishing different image sequences to different versions, the compositor has to traverse through the versions to find all the latest image sequences. Mattias Lagergren
Hi Toke, thank you for the feedback. We're getting closer to releasing the new publishing tools and will then move on to renew the import interface. As part of this we will take this request into consideration! tokejepsen
Think generally the users I'm meeting wants more exposure of the components in the importer. Importing all the components from an asset is good to get started. Other than importing all the components, users are also wanting to see all the components available in the importer, without having to traverse older versions. I know this means a restructure of the UI, but thought I would mention it. Maybe its a matter of selecting assets, instead of assetversions in the top, and then see all the components listed below but have the version number on the listed components.
