Remus Avram
Hi all, I know that there is a limitation in changing the type of a published version, but is there any plan to allow this in the future? Is there a reason for this limitation? Cheers!
Björn Rydahl
Hi Remus, not really, but there may be certain implications when changing it. For example if files on disk include the asset type in the path. Usually that would be burned into the path, and therefore things would still work, but it depends on how you have things configured. If this is really something you need, I would write a simple action with UI that you can use to change it. Cheers
Remus Avram
Hi Bjoern, thanks for your answer! In our Pipeline the asset type is not included in the path of the files. It would be cool if we could change it with permissions configured (like the others). Also it would be awesome if we could change it via the API.
