Hi all,

I created a new group using the API with the following command:

session.create('Group', {"name": name, "local": local})

If I query for the group, the group exists.

Unfortunately, it doesn't show up in the ftrack web interface.

Could you please provide us with an example how to create groups in ftrack?

Hi Remus,

if you want the group to appear in system settings you ned to set local to False.

Local groups do not show up in the UI, unless you allocate them to a project. Then they are the same as creating a group in your project team.

Let me know how that works out.
