Find status_changes between a certain time

Hi, Im a bit lost on filtering in Ftrack. From the web interface using the Task view I have a Task Query filter. 
 

name is "Animation" 
and 
status.name is "Approved"
and
(
status_changes.date > 2024-07-01 and status_changes.date < 2024-07-10
)

But the status_changes.date isn't really doing what I want.

I want to find all Shots where the task "Animation" his status changed within a certain time frame and I only want to list the ones where the task status is "Approved".  In the result I seem not to be able to change the before part of the date. So changing 2024-07-10 to 2024-07-02 has no influence at all.

What's the proper way to filter on status changes between a certain time range?
