Viewing Shot Statuses

Hello, 

 

Is there a way to see all shots and their statuses in ftrack? I'd like to be able to see what the status is of my shots and to also use a widget to view the progress of my show/epsiodes. Additionally it would be wonderful to have icons next to shot names which indicate the status so you always know what the shot status is when looking at a task or version associated with that shot.

Hi Emma,

thanks for writing in

if you change the status column cell formatting to No Summary you will be able to see the shot statuses.

Hi Emma,

no the left hand side Navigator always displays a summary, though you can change it from displaying the STATE colors to the Status colors

that is under system settings>workflow>settings>Show status in progress

also when you mark certain objects in the hierarchy with a status that is of the STATE of BLOCKED it will show the line items as being struck out

also the outliner on the left acts as a filter for the Task, Versions spreadsheets and Dashboards part of the page

so you can quickly drill into the details by using the combination.

Hello, 

I've now had more time working with FTrack and the shots status options still aren't quite working for me. Ideally I would like to be able to see a page with all my shots in and their statuses, but this is only possible with the summaries on the left or adding a column when looking at versions or tasks. Ideally there would be a page or a widget provided that just summarises shot statuses as this is quite a crucial thing to track, especially on larger shows. Are there any plans to add anything like this?
