JBreckeen Posted May 24 Report Posted May 24 And the second thing that would make CineSync better would be the ability to have color presets per file type. We are really loving the OCIO and LUT functions that CineSync has - this makes the color pipeline very easy! Thanks for that. But we tend review different types of media: with CG renders in linear (Rec709Lin or ACEScg), and "video" media in Rec709 or a camera log usually. We have set up color presets already so we can quickly select the proper OCIO colorspaces and view LUT if applicable. But that means every time we open a file(s) to review we have to go into the menu to select the preset. What I am proposing is a way to associate a preset with a file type. So for example when we are opening a .exr it will be associated with the preset we have built for it. And then any time a .mov is opened, it uses that preset. Hope that makes sense, and there of course may be a way already, but I have not found it. Thanks in advance, JBreckeen.
