python query action context from host dcc

Hi there,

 

When launching a host dcc (maya, nuke, etc) using the connect app, how can we use python query the action context selected from the connect interface

 

(Looking to ...
* get current action context

* get frame ranges from action context

* set host dcc frame range

)

I'm able to connect to a session without issues, but I'm unsure how to query with no known 'knowns'.

Thoughts welcome,
