api Support for OpenAPI

If you supported OpenAPI, then instead of officially supporting and maintaining client libraries, everyone could generate a client library for their language of choice.

I was actually surprised that this isn't supported, as it is often the case with other APIs.

Are there any plans of this?

There is currently no support for the OpenAPI specification.
I have created a feature request with the product team on your behalf advocating for support of this specification.

If / when OpenAPI support lands, it will be announced here with release notes.

To be clear, this is a feature request for now and not currently on the roadmap until the product team prioritizes it, and as such, I can't provide an ETA for the feature.

It's a very simple task though. Even if it consists of creating a manual OpenAPI json spec. 

I hope it gets prioritized!
