Way to define order or grouping of custom attributes?

Is there a way to define the order or grouping of custom attributes on an object?  We have a pile of custom attributes defined for an object and at present they're showing in the info view in what seems to be a random order.  We want to logically group the attributes or at the very least order them in a way that makes sense so they're not jumbled.

Thanks for writing in, we'll be happy to help out here. If you navigate to System Settings > Advanced > Custom attributes and enable Manual sort. The order of this list dictates the order seen in the side panel. Once Manual sort is enabled, you can drag / reorder your custom attributes. Once arranged in the way you like you can save and the order should be reflected in the side panel.
