John
Hello, In spreadsheet, is there any chance I can group entities by custom attributes other than predefined ones?(For now it only has Assignee, Priority, Status, Type). So I can group shots by episodes instead of putting them under each episode objects. Cheers, John
JPrydz
Hi John, The "Group by" is not customizable at the moment. But a change of this behaviour has been up for discussion. So I have added your feedback to that task. In the meantime, would the "Shots view" in the spreadsheet help you in any way? Or maybe a filter? Not sure exactly how you would like it to display? John
Hi Johan, for now a filter would do a similar job, but still not as perfect as a customizable "Group by". What I'm trying to achieve is like a "hierarchy" look but without actually parenting shots to "Episode" objects. By this way we can utilise the StandardStructure while getting rid of episode folder (due to the potentially frequent changes of episode attribute, we don't want to bind a shot to an episode regarding file system). Thanks.
JPrydz
Hi John, Thanks for additional information. I see what you mean. In the meantime, maybe a filter along with the "Shots view"? Regards, Johan
John
Hi, Johan, for now we are going to use filter + shot view. Thank you.
