Just to make sure I understand you correctly, you would like to be able to have custom attributes on calendar events (the striped blocks in overview) and be able to set these when creating events in the UI. Is that correct? In your case, are you looking to store any specific information on the events or is it more that you would like the flexibility to do so in the future? Especially if we are creating custom attributes for users, e.g. I would like to be able to filter them by the location they are working in and not just enabled or disabled users.
