Read bid attribute read only?

If you have checked out "Read bid" option in the roles the bid values are not visible anymore
If you check the "Read bid" option in the roles the bid values are visible AND editable

Is there a way to have the bid values visible but not editable?

If bid is editable or not should depend on the "Update objects (sequence,shot,task)" permission. Could you verify if that is not the case?

If I check "read bid" on the Coordination role they will be able to see it and to edit it.

If I uncheck the "Update objects" on the Coordination role, they will not be able to change the bid days, but also all the rest (status, assignments, ...)

I just would like to have like in the custom attributes the possibility to decide if they can just read an info or edit it too.

Is that possible?

Hi Luigi,

It is currently not possible to control if you can edit individual (non-custom) attributes. There is a special permission for changing statuses, but in general it is all-or-nothing.

We have some ideas on this but no decisions are made and it is currently not on our public roadmap
