  1. Hello. When you select a shot or a task, there are six main tabs: Notes, Tasks, Versions, Links, Activities and Info. Even creating a highly restrictive user role, when you make a project visible, they have access to all the data. Is it possible to specify, via python, that only some of the tabs are visible to those users? Or hide the content of the other tabs? Thank you very much.

  3. Hi, Not sure if this has already been requested, It would be great to be able to retrospectively add users to a note posted on a Task/Shot (Edit Note) we keep finding that we have to reply to an existing note typing ' Adding more users' as a workaround. Many thanks! George
  4. Is there a way to programmatically update a user's profile picture? Can I (mass) upload user profile pictures via the Users section in the System Settings? I found the information from an individual uploading their profile picture: http://ftrack.rtd.ftrack.com/en/stable/using/getting_started/managing_account.html#configuring-settings But I haven't seen any docs on this anywhere else.

  6. Hi all, as we already know, users can not be deleted from Ftrack because of assignment dependencies. It would be cool if we would have the option to hide users in Resources; in this case the list of existing users in Ftrack will go lower.
  7. Hi all, I created a new group using the API with the following command: session.create('Group', {"name": name, "local": local}) If I query for the group, the group exists. Unfortunately, it doesn't show up in the ftrack web interface. Could you please provide us with an example how to create groups in ftrack? Best, Remus
  8. Hey Guys, Currently, any user that's ever been created in ftrack, wether or not the account is active, shows up as an available resource when managers are trying to assign tasks. This is true in drop downs, predictive text, and Task Boards. I'm hoping this is an option I haven't found yet but if not: First, it would be great if inactive accounts did not show up anywhere except under System Settings / Users. Obviously, they could be deleted, but we'd like to keep the legacy information. Second, it would be nice to filter out users who are not available to take tasks (admins, production, execs, etc). All of the names generally clutter up anything that lists resources.
